The challenges to face
Finding components which are both intrinsically and GMP safe, to create a chamber. Oh, and the GMP chamber also had to be able to handle explosive gas and high pressure non-explosive mixtures.
The result
This (probably) first « all in one high-specification » piece of equipment could become a standard for all the manufacturers in the MedTech industry.

Like installing a one-meter-85-high catalytic abator in a two-meter-high basement
The client
A pacemaker manufacturer in Switzerland
The challenges to face
Building a silent, compact and safe abator, in order to double the capacity of the previous client’s system. Then, we had to install it in the company’s basement, next to the parking lot. In a two-meter-high room.
The result
This project proved that – with good ideas and some guts – you could do big things (even in small rooms).

By optimizing the fabrication process of resorbable thread (-50% pouches needed)

The challenges to face
Sterilizing and drying resorbable sutures in just one chamber. In order to achieve that, we created a very tight chamber, capable to run cycles, down to 1mBar and up to 85 °C.
The result
A better controlled and insured product quality; a process time and a packaging use divided by two; a labor downed to zero… This could be a great solution for all humidity-sensitive products.

The challenges to face
Creating one chamber, in which the books can be frozen, dried up and then (EtO) decontaminated. We had a lot of constraints: allowing an inside temperature from -20 to 60°C, a sublimation process, and the vaporization of EtO.
The result
For us, this was a new field to explore and work with (made of old wet books with fungi). And for the archive world, a unique and new technology.
